Iran, Oman…solutions for crises in Syria and Yemen through political means

Muscat, SANA – Iran and Oman stressed that diplomatic means should be adopted for solving the crises in Syria and Yemen.

In a meeting between Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf bin Alawi and Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian held in Muscat on Wednesday, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and the latest developments at the regional and international arena, particularly the crises in Syria and Yemen.
Abdullahian hailed the role of Oman in supporting political means for solving crises in the region, describing its relations with Tehran as excellent.

For his part, Bin Alawi stressed that the danger of the Takfiri terrorist groups constitutes a threat to all the countries of the region, highlighting the need for making consultations among all the neighboring countries for combating this threat.
