NEC: 7 quakes recorded over the past 24 hours

Damascus, SANA- Seven weak quakes were recorded over the past 24 hours, according to the National Earthquake Center (NEC).

The center said in a statement that the stations of the National Seismological Network have recorded 4 tremors in Turkey with a magnitude ranging between 3.7 and 2.5, in addition to a quake in Liwa Iskenderun with a magnitude of 1.5.

The center added that the stations also recorded a 2.5 magnitude quake 26 km to the northwest of Lattakia, and a quake on the Lebanese coast, southwest of Beirut, with a magnitude of 2.3.
