Mikdad: First country which suffered from terrorism, coming from Libya, is Syria

Damascus, SANA-Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad affirmed that the first country which suffered from terrorism, coming from Libya, is Syria where the ships of terrorism and weapon were sent from terrorists of Libya as a gift to those in Syria.

“When Libya becomes a factory for terrorism and a center to freight the weapon of killing to Syria and the rest of the world, our duty will be to stop this danger and not stand silent on the countries which play with the destiny of the Libyans and use them as tools to kill the Syrians ,” Mikdad said in a weekly article published by Lebanese al-Binaa newspaper on Saturday.

He called for halting the killing of Libya as people and land, and to punish leaderships and countries which attacked Libya and seized its territories and treasures.

Mikdad went on to say that what has happened in Libya following the invasion, like division and making it a hotbed for terrorists, was an experiment to what those invaders were plotting against the rest of Arab countries.

He reiterated that Syria stands by Libya, a sovereign, unified Arab country, adding that those who attacked and destroyed Libya should leave it.
