Social security agreement between Syria and Czech Republic enters into force

Prague, SANA – The social security agreement (SSA) between Syria and the Czech Republic entered into force on June 1st, 2020. The agreement, was signed on March 25th, 2010 after all the necessary measures are completed to work between the two countries as the documents relevant to the agreement were exchanged in Foreign and Expatriates Ministry.

Spokeswoman for the Czech Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs said in a statement to SANA correspondent in Prague that the agreement entered into force as of the beginning of this current month, coordinating between the two social security systems in the two countries and respecting the basic international principles in regard of equality in dealing among citizens of the two states in the field of social security.
She pointed out that the social security includes retirement sector and pension cases.
