Syrian Chef Wins Top Outstanding Master Chef award 2024 in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, SANA- Syrian expatriate chef Mohammed Anas Kadour recently won the Oscar for Best Chef in Malaysia.

“Syrian cuisine has a unique richness and wide variety in its types and dishes in all kinds of cold and hot food, appetizers and desserts, all of which are characterized by a unique taste and distinctive forms in the style of presentation, which makes it a cuisine that meets international standards and one of the most important cuisines in the world,” Chef Kadour told SANA,adding that he has a project to bring Syrian cuisine to all countries of the world and represent it in the most important international culinary forums.

Chef Kadour articulated that Syrian food varieties satisfy different tastes and are admired by connoisseurs, and have fans from all over the world through Syrian restaurants that are increasing in all countries.

He indicated that the Syrian chef has today become an ambassador for his country’s culture wherever he is through the distinctive dishes he presents and his winning of awards in the most important international competitions.

Chef Kadour, who is currently based in Malaysia, has worked in the UAE, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Egypt over the past 20 years and runs a culinary innovation training and development center in Kuala Lumpur.

With his experience and skill, he was able to lead the institution’s team of Syrian chefs in several international competitions and win gold medals in food and desserts.

It is worth noting that he was honored by the World Federation of Friends of the United Nations for his efforts in global food programs.
