Al-Maqt: The so-called ‘’Caesar act “targets Syrian people in their livelihood

Occupied Syrian Golan, SANA – Liberated captive, Sedqi al-Maqt, affirmed that Western and American unilateral coercive economic measures against Syria, including the so-called “Caesar act” that targets Syrian people in their livelihood aims to affect their resistance to confront terrorism.

Al-Maqt said in an interview with Syrian TV on Thursday that the conspiring and aggressive powers, when they failed to achieve their schemes through direct military aggression and sending terrorists, moved to impose coercive economic measures in an attempt to achieve those schemes which serve the agendas of Israeli occupation entity.

He also pointed out that the victory of Syrian Arab army on terrorism and on the western colonialism has made Syria live the final chapter of aggression, adding that Syria, at the same time, confronts the most dangerous stage as the enemies try to affect the people ’s resistance through these illegitimate measures.

He stressed that the Syrian people will overcome all those unjust measures as Syria will defeat terrorism.
A-Maqt underlined that citizens of the occupied Syrian Golan will not abandon any span of land of the Golan, and committing to the Syrian Arab identity.
