Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will drop yet remain above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of
the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy; local rain showers are expected on the coastal heights while it will be misty in the eastern areas, al-Jazira and al-Badia.
The wind will be western to northwesterly with a moderate speed and the sea waves will be low to moderate in height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 31/15, Daraa 30/15, Homs 28/13, Lattakia 25/17, Aleppo 30/15, and Deir Ezzor 35/18.
