Provinces, SANA – Army and Armed Forces units carried out special operations targeting sites and gatherings for ISIS in the area surrounding Deir Ezzor Airport and al-Jafra village and in the villages of al-Husseinieh, al-Bghilieh, al-Bo Omar, al-Abd, Hawijet al-Mriaia and al-Tharda Mountain, according to SANA’s reporter.
The reporter said that as a result of the army’s operations, a number of terrorists were killed, others were injured, and a number of their sites and one heavy machinegun were destroyed.
The reporter added that army units engaged in heavy clashes with ISIS terrorists in al-Rashdia neighborhood and Cinema Fouad Street, killing many terrorists, injuring many others, and destroying a car bomb rigged with big amounts of highly explosive materials before arriving at one of the military posts.

Meanwhile army units killed on Tuesday 15 ISIS terrorists in intensive operations against their gatherings west of Tadmur city.
A military source told SANA that the army units targeted the ISIS terrorists’ positions and fortifications with various types of weapons east of Forth Station and al-Fawarah area west of Tadmur, killing 15 terrorists and injuring others in addition to destroying an armored vehicle and seven cars equipped with machine guns and cannon.
