Prayers for rain performed in all Syrian mosques

Provinces, SANA-Prayers for rain (Istisqa’)were performed after Friday prayers in mosques all over Syria.

The mosques’ imams stressed during Friday sermons the great meaning of the prayers for rain, imploring God to offer rains and mercy for Syria and the Syrians.
They also invoked God to protect Syria and President Bashar al-Assad.

In al-Sayyida Khadeja Mosque in Tartous, Minister of Awqaf (Religious Endowments) Mohammad Abdul-Sattar al-Sayyed pointed out that Syrians are praying to God to give Syria rain, goodness and blessings and to enable Syria to restore security and stability.
