Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly rise to become around average as the country is affected by a weak high air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department said in its Saturday bulletin that skies are clear in general and some scattered clouds appear.

It added that the weather will be cold at night, frost is expected on the mountainous highest and mist in the southern region and some inland areas.

The winds will be northeastern of low speed and the sea waves will be of low amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows:Damascus 18/09, Daraa 21/13, Homs 20/06, Hama 18/06, Lattakia 23/17, Aleppo 20/09 and Deir Ezzor 22/10.
