Tartous, SANA – The competent authorities in Tartous seized Monday a warehouse containing weapons, electronic explosive devices and ammunition in one of neighborhoods in Banias city.
A source at the Police Command in the province told SANA correspondent that the competent authorities, after investigation and careful monitoring, discovered a hidden stash in the wall of a house in al-Qbayyat neighborhood in the city.
The source added that different kinds of weapons were found inside, including sniper rifles, machineguns, grenades, laptops, detonation devices and large amount of explosives and ammunition.
