Moscow, SANA – Russian bombers conducted new sorties targeting ISIS positions in Syria after taking off from the Iranian Hamedan airbase.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday that SU-34 Russian bombers taking off from Iran’s Hamadan airbase had struck ISIS targets in the countryside of Deir Ezzor.
The ministry pointed out that the bombers, which carried OFAB-500 high-explosive bombs, destroyed two command sites and two large training camps and killed more than 150 ISIS terrorists, including foreign fighters.
The ministry said that all the bombers returned to their home bases after carrying out their tasks.
