Damascus, SANA – The monthly shopping festival “Made in Syria” kicked off on Thursday evening at Tishreen Sports Complex in al-Baramkeh neighborhood of Damascus, providing wide range of food, clothes, plastic products, detergents, stationery and cosmetics.
Industry Minister, Ahmed Al-Hamo considered the festival as a “source of pride” for Syria and its people since it stresses the industrialists’ determination to continue work and production, despite the difficult circumstance in the country, and fulfill the requirements of all Syrians.
He underlined the important role of Damascus chamber of Industry that organized this festival, promoted national industrial products and provide high-quality products at reasonable prices to citizens.
For his part, Chairman of the Damascus and Damascus Countryside Chamber of Industry Samer al- Debs said that discounts exceed 50% and the prices suit people of low-income, highlighting the national companies’ efforts to meet the needs of local market.
More than 100 major national industrial companies are participating in this event organized by the Industry Chamber in Damascus and its Countryside.
