Damascus, SANA – Temperatures remain around or slightly below average as the country is influenced by the Indian low pressure system accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds, while the weather will be summery and misty in the eastern and al-Jazira areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly of light to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low to medium in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 34/22, Daraa 33/21, Homs 30/20, Lattakia 29/22, Aleppo 35/23 and Deir Ezzor 39/25.
