Moscow: US allegations on Russia’s actions in Syria lack specificities

Moscow, SANA – The Russian Defense Ministry criticized the U.S. allegations that the Russia Air Force has violated the cessation of hostilities agreement in Syria.

The U.S. special presidential envoy for the anti-ISIS international coalition Brett McGurk said during the hearings of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations that the Russian Aerospace Forces in Syria violate ceasefire.

“It’s hard to say what domestic political reasons prompted this official to make this statement in the U.S. Senate. However, just like all previous escapades against us on Capitol Hill, it completely lacks specificities,” the Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said.

“There are no dates, times or places that we could analyze and respond with facts,” he added.
