Damascus, SANA – Temperatures will rise but will remain around or slightly above average as the country is affected by southeastern low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a weak chance of rain showers on the coastal heights during the night, while the weather will be misty in the eastern and al-Badia (desert) areas.
The winds will be changeable of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low to medium in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 34/19, Daraa 34/21, Homs 32/22, Lattakia 28/24, Aleppo 33/20 and Deir Ezzor 37/24.
