Damascus, SANA- The National Leadership of the Baath Arab Socialist Party (BASP) asserted that Martyrs’ Day is an occasion for inspiring the meaning of sacrifices and continuing the march of struggle for liberating the occupied Syrian Golan, achieving new victories, eliminating terrorism and restoring security and stability to all Syrian areas.
In a statement marking the Martyr’s Day, the leadership considered that the “Martyrs’ Day is an occasion to promote the culture of resistance and the values of martyrdom and to strengthen the confidence in the Arab fighter who defends his country away from frustration and despair.”
The hostile Arabic-speaking media outlets try hard to make the Arab people and fighters, who are facing terrorism and the Zionist enemy and their schemes in the region, frustrated and despaired, the statement added.
The statement concluded by saluting the martyrs’ souls and their families, wishing speedy recovery for the wounded of the Syrian Army.
