Homs, SANA- 12 people were killed and 40 others were injured on Thursday in twin terrorist attacks that hit Homs eastern countryside, according to Homs Governor Talal al-Barazi.
Initial information referred to the death of six people and injury of 28 others.
Earlier today, Al-Barazi told SANA that terrorists blew up a car and a motorcycle in al-Mukhraam al-Fouqani town in the eastern countryside of Homs province.
He added that the number of martyrs may rise as some of the injured are in critical situation, noting that the bombing scene is a crowded hub for school students and employees.
SANA reporter in Homs said that huge material damage was also caused to houses and shops in the targeted area.
Terrorist groups affiliated to ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organizations fortify in a number of villages that administratively belong to al-Mukhraam area and target safe villages with shells and bombs that claim lives of innocent people.
