Syrian Army and Air Force kill terrorists, destroy their vehicles in various areas

Provinces, SANA- Syrian army and armed forces carried out Tuesday more operations against terrorism and terrorist organizations in various areas of the country.

Homs

The Syrian Air Force carried out Tuesday morning intensive sorties targeting movements of ISIS terrorists in areas in the eastern countryside of Homs province.

According to a military source, the air strikes that hit targets to the east and north of Palmyra city and in Huweisis resulted in the death of many ISIS terrorists and the destruction of their vehicles that had medium and heavy machine guns mounted on them.

Deir Ezzor

In the eastern province of Deir Ezzor, the Syria Air Force launched airstrikes against sites and gatherings of ISIS terrorists to the east and west of Deir Ezzor Military Airport.

A number of vehicles, some equipped with heavy machine guns, were destroyed and many terrorists were killed in the airstrikes, according to the source.

Daraa

Army units destroyed artillery positions, rocket launchers, and fortified positions for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in al-Arbaeen and al-Karak neighborhoods and in al-Nazeheen Camp in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa province, a military source told SANA.

The source said an army unit destroyed a command center for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in al-Bahhar neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad and killed a number of terrorists, including some of their leaders, while another army unit targeted a den for al-Nusra in the southern side of al-Manshiyeh neighborhood, destroying it along with all the arms and ammunition inside.
