Damascus, SANA- Activities of Khan al-Harir fashion and textiles expo were concluded on Tuesday at Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus, with the participation of 70 companies specialized in clothing, fabrics, and related production requirements.
The 3-day expo, which is named after a commercial district in the Old City in Aleppo that was renowned for textiles trade, is organized by Aleppo Chamber of Industry, in cooperation with the Industry Ministry and the Economy and External Trade Ministry.
The participant industrialists asserted this economic activity proves that Aleppo is the capital of the Syrian industry and the textile industry in the region.
They pointed out that Aleppo’s industrialists are still working and producing in spite of the acts of stealing and sabotage in the installations and machines at the hands of the terrorist organizations.
