Damascus, SANA- Temperatures continue to gradually rise but remain below average by 3 to 6 degrees as the country is affected by high air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and the weather will be very cold at night, warning against frost and fog in most areas.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly of light speed, while sea waves will be of low amplitude.
The expected temperature in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 08/-02, Daraa 07/-02, Homs 08/-04, Hama 08/-03, Hasaka 06/-03, Lattakia 12/03, Aleppo 07/-04 and Deir Ezzor 09/-01.
