Wednesday weather forecast: Temperatures slightly rise, rainfall expected

Damascus, SANA – Temperatures will slightly rise but remain 2 to 3 degrees below average as the country is under the influence of high air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will remain partly cloudy in general with a chance of rainfalls over various areas in the country, and the weather will be cold at night.

The department warned of frost forming over mountains and fog in some inland areas.

The wind will be southeasterly of low speed and the sea waves will be of low to medium amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some of the main Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 11/04, Daraa 08/04, Homs 10/06, Hama 13/ 07, Hasaka 10/04, Lattakia 17/12, Tartous 16/12, Aleppo 08/04 and Deir Ezzor 14/05.
