Damascus, SANA – Temperatures remain 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is under the influence of a high air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and the winds will be southeasterly of mostly moderate speed.
The sea weaves will be of low to medium amplitude, according to the bulletin.
The expected temperatures in some of the main Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 16/05, Daraa 13/06, Homs12/05, Hama 15/ 06, Hasaka 12/05, Lattakia 20/11, Tartous 18/12, Aleppo 14/04 and Deir Ezzor 15/06.
