Prague, SANA – Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic Lubomir Zaoralek reiterated his country’s support for reaching a political settlement for the crisis in Syria.
In an interview with the Czech TV on Wednesday, Zaoralek said such a solution does not mean laying down arms before ISIS and other terrorist organization, rather it means seeking a bigger representation of opposition that can partake in a political solution.
He also said that the crisis in Syria is one of the reasons for emigration to Europe, thus solving the crisis in Syria would enable Europe to solve the problem of migration, adding that a political solution cannot be reached without the participation of President Bashar al-Assad.
