Provinces, SANA – The army units and air force targeted terrorist organizations’ positions in various areas on Thursday, destroying their headquarters and vehicles and killing dozens of terrorists.
Hama /Idleb
Army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, established full control on Um Twenih village in Hama countryside after eliminating the last cell of ISIS terrorists in the area.
An army unit fired on movements of vehicle convoys for ISIS in al-Maakar al-Shamali village, northeast of Salamiyeh city in the countryside of the central Hama province, a military source told SANA Thursday.
At least 35 ISIS terrorists were killed and 9 vehicles, equipped with machien guns were destroyed, according to the source..
Over 18 more ISIS terrorists were killed and a vehicle equipped with a machinegun was destroyed in an army operation against an ISIS site in al-Rahajan village, 95 km northeast of Hama city.
Meanwhile, the army’s air force launched strikes against ISIS movements and hideouts in Qleib al-Thour village in the eastern countryside of Salamiyeh, inflicting heavy losses upon them in terms of personnel, equipment and vehicles.
In the northern countryside of the province, a number of terrorists from the so-called Jaish al-Fatah were killed and their vehicles and weapons were destroyed in the towns of al-Latamneh and Kafr Zita.
Meanwhile, field sources told SANA that a leader within “Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement” named Mohammad Abdel-Qader al-Zaidan and nicknamed Abu Osama was identified among those killed in al-Latamneh and Kafr Zita, along with the terrorist Mohannad al-Hallaq.
The sources also affirmed that a monitor center for the terrorist organization and a mortar launcher were destroyed in army operations in Lahaya al-Sharqiyeh village. Three terrorists operating the mortar were killed.
An army unit targeted terrorists in Latmin village in the northern countryside of the province, killing 5 of them, including Mohammad Khaled al-Shneiwi, and destroying a vehicle equipped with a machine gun and three motorcycles.
In a relevant context, the terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media websites the death of 37 of their members east of Mourek and other areas on the border between Hama and Idleb.
Homs
The army’s air force targeted gatherings and movements of ISIS terrorists in the eastern countryside of Homs province, destroying their vehicles and equipment in al-Sukhneh, east of Palmyra city.
The army airstrikes on ISIS positions and gatherings north of al-Bayarat area in the western countryside of Palmyra and in al-Qaryatain city in Homs’ southeastern countryside left a number of terrorists dead and their vehicles destroyed.
Positions and arms for ISIS terrorists were destroyed in army airstrikes on their gatherings in the villages of Rahoum, Unq al-Hawa and Um Sahrij, 82km east of Homs city.
Aleppo
The army’s air force targeted during the past 24 hours positions of ISIS terrorist organization in the villages of Jarouf and Njara, north of Sharbaa, and al-Bab city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province.
ISIS terrorists suffered heavy losses in personnel, vehicles and equipment in the airstrikes, while army units hit ISIS’s gatherings in the villages of Beijan and Ein al-Safa and al-Bab city.
A number of terrorists’ positions and supply routes were hit in the villages of Ein al-Beida and karah Baba as in Anadan city and its farms in the international road Aleppo/Eintab.
Army units inflicted heavy losses upon the terrorists in personnel and weaponry in Handarat town, located on the international road leading to the Turkish territories.
Other army units targeted the terrorists’ dens and movements in the villages of Dulama, al-Barqoum, Panes, Rasm al-Sahreij and al-Zerbeh town in Aleppo southern countryside, destroying their positions and vehicles, some of which were equipped with machineguns.
In the northeastern countryside of Aleppo province, army units inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists in personnel and equipment in al-Ameriyeh village and the surrounding of aL-Nairab airport.
The army destroyed mortar launchers for Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations in the neighborhoods of al-Halak, al-Saleheen, Hanano, al-Ramousa, Saif al-Dawla, Salah Eddin, al-Lairamoun, Bani Zeid, Bustan al-Basha, Beideen, al-Halawaniyeh, al-Rashedeen and al-Sakhour in Aleppo city.
Daraa
The army killed members of an armed terrorist group who were trying to infiltrate from Jisr al-Ghariya into military points near Kherbat Ghazaleh to the north of Daraa countryside.
An army unit also targeted terrorists between Sour and Hrak towns in Daraa eastern countryside, destroying a den and depot there.
