Damascus, SANA – The temperatures continue to drop to become 2 to 4 degrees below average under a high air pressure with northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected cold weather in its Friday bulletin, noting that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general.
The department warned of frost forming in most internal and mountainous areas during the night.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly of low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 11/03, Aleppo 10/-3, Homs 09/-2, Hama 11/-2, Idleb 09/-4, Hasaka 08/01, Raqqa 09/01, Daraa 12/01, Sweida 07/0 and Lattakia 15/06.
