ISIS suffers more losses in several provinces

Provinces, SANA-The army continued operations against positions of ISIS and other terrorist organizations all over the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.

Deir Ezzor

Syrian army air force targeted ISIS gatherings and concentrations in al-Mari’yeh, east of Deir Ezzor city, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their vehicles and weapons.

Meanwhile, army units killed 11 ISIS terrorists in operations in a number of areas in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside.

Aleppo

The army’s air force destroyed positions and vehicles for ISIS terrorists in the the villages and towns of Erbid, Deir Hafer, Ain al-Jamajma, Kabana, al-Sin, Teb Ghabsheh, Wadiaa and al-Bab city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province, a military source told SANA on Wednesday.

 Homs

The Syrian Arab Army’s Air Force directed intensive strikes at dens and gatherings of ISIS terrorists in the eastern and southern countryside of Homs province.

A military source told SANA that based on accurate information and surveillance of terrorists’ movements and positions, the Air Force destroyed a gathering for ISIS terrorists along with their vehicles which were equipped with machineguns in al-Qaryatain city at the outskirt of the Syrian Badiya (desert), 85 kilometers to the south east of Homs.

The Air Force carried out sorties against ISIS gatherings and dens in Maheen village in the southeastern countryside of Homs, destroying them along with the terrorists, arms, and vehicles inside them.

Air strikes also targeted the movements and fortified sites of ISIS terrorists in Oum Sahreij and al-Shendakhieh al-Janoubieh to the north of Homs, inflicting heavy losses in personnel and munitions upon terrorists.

Hama/ Idleb

An army unit destroyed a mortar and a rocket launching pad and killed 13 terrorists who were rigging them to the north of Maan village in the northern countryside of the central Hama province.

Sources on the ground told SANA that the terrorist Asaad al-Eriyan, who is and “Emir” in “Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement” as his vehicle, equipped with a 23mm machine gun, was hit to north of Maan village.

Another army unit destroyed terrorists’ positions and an armored car in the northern part of the village, killing a number of terrorists, including Ahmad al-Saeed, Khaled al-Raayan, Mohannad al-Qteish and Mohammad Ahmad al-Marae.

Gatherings of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and Jaish al-Fateh organizations were targeted in Kafer Zita town, where 4 vehicles were destroyed and at least 7 terrorists were killed.

An army unit completely destroyed a hideout for terrorists from the so-called “Jund al- Aqsa” in al-Latamneh town, 35 km northwest of Hama city.

In the same context, a military source told SANA that the army’s air force targeted Jabhat al-Nusra positions in the villages of Atshan, al-Lahaya, Kafer Nabbouda and Morek city in the northern countryside of the province.

Many terrorists were killed and a number of centers and vehicles equipped with machine guns were destroyed.

In Idleb province, the sources said an army unit targeted hideouts for Jaish al-Fateh terrorists in al-Hbeit town, injuring 13 terrorists.

Daraa

Army units in Daraa destroyed dens of terrorist organizations and inflicted heavy losses in personnel and munitions upon them.

In the eastern countryside of the province, an army unit carried out concentrated operations targeting the movements of terrorist organizations after monitoring them in al-Sheikh Husein hill and Toloul Khleif near Oum Walad village which is close to Sweida province, according to a military source.

The source said the operations resulted in killing a number of terrorists, most of which were from Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization, and destroying their gatherings and fortifications.

Army units also eliminated hotbeds of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and other terrorist organizations in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa city.
