Damascus, SANA – The temperatures remain around average as the country is affected by a low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be cloudy in general and thundershowers are expected in different areas.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly of moderate to light speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 30/16, Aleppo 32/18, Lattakia 31/24, Homs 30/17 and Hama 30/20.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will rise to become slightly above average and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, and thundershowers are expected over the western and the coastal areas.
Different amounts of rainfalls were registered in the northwestern areas, Lattakia city 3 mm, al-Bahlouliyeh (in Lattakia province) 16 mm and Tartous 6 mm.
