Monday weather: Temperatures above average, skies clear

Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will remain above average in most areas as the country is being affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by a high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya “desert” areas.

The speed of the wind will be light and the sea waves will be low in height.

Tomorrow, the temperatures will slightly drop to become around average as the skies will be covered with various amounts of mid-level and high-level clouds and rain showers are expected over the coastal areas.

Expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 33/17, Aleppo 33/18, Homs 32/16, Lattakia 31/22 and Hama 35/19.
