Damascus , SANA – A girl child was injured as a sniper terrorist targeted a passenger bus in Douma area in Damascus Countryside on Wednesday.
A Police Command source told SANA reporter that a sniper opened fire on the bus that was passing near Rahmeh gas station on Damascus-Homs highway, wounding a girl child.
This was not the first snipe attack in this area, as it has been a target for months. The latest attack was on the 6th of last March when a civilian got injured, after another was killed in February.
Meanwhile, terrorists launched a mortar shell on Rukun al-Din neighborhood in Damascus.
A police source told SANA the shell hit a house near Younes Agha mosque in Asad al-Din area, causing damage to the house without causalities.
