Damascus, SANA – Minister of Social Affairs, Dr. Kinda al-Shammat stressed that the civil sector is a major partner with the government in alleviating the suffering of displaced and affected families due to terrorism in Syria.
She clarified, during a tour in “Saaed” (help) Charity in Damascus on Saturday, that the project of “Our bit together” culminates the efforts of charities, Donors and volunteer teams for delivering meals to the greatest numbers of people in need.
Head of the Charity, Issam Habbal, said the Charity works within the aforementioned project to distribute about 6,000 hot meals in Ramadan on the daily basis to the families registered in the charity, in addition to other charities’ efforts.
