Temperatures to rise gradually, skies clear to partly cloudy

Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will rise gradually but will remain below average as the country is being affected by a high air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be between clear and partly cloudy in general and local rain showers are still expected over the coastal and northeastern areas.

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly of light to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be light to medium in height.

Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to rise to become around average, while the skies will be clear in general with scattered clouds.
