Provinces, SANA – Units of the army and armed forces on Wednesday continued to tighten noose around foreign-backed terrorist organizations across the country, killing and injuring scores of their members and destroying their weaponry.
Damascus Countryside
Army units, in cooperation with the Lebanese Resistance, established full control over the area of Ras al-Ma’ara after establishing control over Tallit Mousa hill in al-Qalamoun ranges in Damascus Countryside, a military source said.
Dozens of terrorists were killed and their weapons and ammunition were destroyed in those areas, and army units are chasing down the few remaining terrorists in the area surrounding Tallit Moussa.
Army units also destroyed terrorists’ dens in the surroundings of Falita town in al-Qalamoun area.
An Army unit frustrated an attempt by terrorist groups to infiltrate to some military checkpoints south of Tfeil town in western Qalamoun, killing and injuring tens of their members.
Aleppo
The army destroyed dens for ISIS terrorists near the air force academy, eliminating some terrorist cells in a number of Aleppo neighborhoods.
Homs
The army’s air force eliminated scores of terrorists in Tal al-Daba’a, Tafha, Ber al-Rak and near al-Sikhneh in Homs countryside, destroying a large number of their vehicles.
A Source in Homs said the army, in cooperation with families, clashed with terrorists of ISIS who infiltrated into al-Sikhneh, al-Ameriya and the industrial areas in Palmyra countryside, inflicting them heavy losses.
Earlier, Army units killed many ISIS terrorist members in the eastern countryside of Homs central province.
A military source told SANA that the air force in the Syrian Army targeted gatherings of ISIS terrorists in Be’r Hawaya al-Shams to the north of Palmyra, Wadi al-Sukkar and al-Qarya al-Namozajia and al-Jabal al-Dahekar.
The source pointed out that heavy losses were inflicted upon ISIS terrorists where many got killed and their vehicles were destroyed.
Hama
Meanwhile, in the neighboring province of Hama, a unit of the army and armed forces killed terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in al-Latamneh town in the northern countryside of the province, destroying a number of terrorists’ hideouts along with the weapons and ammo inside them
Sweida
Other units of the army and armed forces killed ISIS terrorists in the areas of the southern Asheeheb and northern Asheeheb and in Teloul al-Fedyayn in the northeastern countryside of Sweida province.
Daraa
In the neighboring Sweida , a unit of the army and armed forces killed a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists near Nasib border crossing in the countryside of the southern province of Daraa.
Quneitra
Army units eliminated a number of Jabhet al-Nusra terrorists and destroyed a number of their weapons and vehicles in Mas’ar area in Quneitra’s northern countryside.
Earlier, the army destroyed terrorists’ vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns and killed a number of terrorists in al-Simdanyeh al-Gharbyeh in Quneitra north-eastern countryside.
