Lattakia, SANA- A prayer for peace in Syria was held Saturday at the Latin Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Lattakia with participation of 33 figures representing French civil society.
Participants prayed for that peace prevails in Syria, agony of the Syrian people ends and Syria returns to be the cradle of love and tolerance.
“We came to Syria to see the reality of what is happening in it and get acquainted with the suffering of the Syrian people due to terrorism,” member of the French delegation Marie Gabriel told SANA.
Gabriel expressed hope that peace will prevail in Syria again.
