Beirut, SANA- 16 people were martyred and about 36 others were injured in Israeli raids Tuesday night on Joun town in Chouf district and Tyre district.
Lebanese Health Ministry stated in a statement that an Israeli aerial raid on Joun in Chouf district caused in the martyrdom of 15 people, among whom eight women and four children, in addition to the injury of 12 others.
The statement added the Israeli enemy raids on Tyre city and its district also left one martyr and 24 injuries, while the rubble removal operations are still ongoing.
Earlier this morning, enemy warplanes carried out a series of raids on Beirut southern suburb, targeting several areas there.
