Beijing, SANA- China urged the United States on Monday to respect the facts, corrects its wrongdoing and stop using what’s called ‘religious issues’ to meddle in China internal affairs.
Chinses Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning denounced in a regular Press Conference the US so-called “report” about Xinjiang region, adding that it has no factual basis, fills with lies and disinformation and reeks of ideological bias.
The spokesperson affirmed that the US report is a distortion of China’s religious policy and her country opposes it.
“The Chinese government protects the citizens’ freedom of religious belief in accordance with the law as people of all ethnic groups in China are fully entitled to the freedom of religious belief as prescribed by law” Mao added.
