Pro-Palestinian students in Princeton University beginning a hunger strike

New York, SANA- A group of students at Princeton University began a hunger strike in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza, who are suffering from the horrors of the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression for the 211th day.

WAFA agency quoted the members of the “Palestine Solidarity Camp” at Princeton University as saying in a statement, “We have begun a hunger strike in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza Strip, who are suffering under the ongoing Israeli siege.”

They added “the decision to strike comes in response to the American administration’s refusal to meet our demands by withdrawing its support for Israel.”

Since last April, American universities have witnessed an increasing student movement in support of Gaza in the face of the Israeli war of extermination, and the movement has expanded and moved to universities in other countries such as France, Britain, Germany, Canada and India.
