Khaji: Zionist attacks on Syria lead to negative repercussions on the region stability

Tehran – SANA – Ali Asghar Khaji, the Iranian foreign minister’s senior advisor on special political affairs, warned of the negative repercussions of the Zionist attacks against Syria on peace and stability in the region.

“The reasons for the Zionist attacks on Syria result from the nature of the occupation entity which is based on aggression.” IRNA quoted Khaji as saying during his discussions today via video with the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General to Syria, Geir Pedersen.

Khaji called on the international community to take practical measures to improve the humanitarian and economic situation in Syria.

In his speech Khaji also condemned the Zionist crimes targeting the Gaza Strip, calling for practical steps to be taken in the context of stopping this aggression.
