Syria, Kazakhstan discuss ways of boosting bilateral relations

Damascus, SANA- Governor of Damascus, Eng. Mohammad Tariq Kreashati discussed with the Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Damascus, Bakhit Aristan, ways to enhance and develop bilateral relations between Syria and Kazakhstan, and arrangements for the opening of al-Farabi Cultural Center and putting it into service during the coming period.

Kreashati affirmed the governorate’s readiness to provide all facilities for the opening of al-Farabi Cultural Center in Damascus and to activate its cultural, historical and scientific activities and programs.

Kreashati expressed thanks for the relief efforts made by Kazakhstan during the earthquake disaster that struck Syria.

In turn, Aristan praised the historical relations that bind the peoples of the two countries and the efforts made to open the center.

Aristan stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Kazakh cities and Damascus in the service, investment and cultural fields.
