Turkish Secretary-General of VP Party: Syria is humanity frontline against terrorism

Damascus, SANA, Secretary-General of the Turkish Nationalist Land Party (VP) Dogu Perincek said that Syria is the frontline of humanity against terrorism, “and we have come here to express our solidarity and support with Syria, its people and President Bashar al-Assad.”

Perincek, who is heading a delegation of Turkish Parliamentary and media figures to Syria, said in an interview with SANA “We realize that peace in Syria means peace in Turkey and the terrorism exercised in Syria will have repercussions inside Turkey…We want to completely defeat terrorism and preserve Syria’s territorial integrity and national unity.”

The turkish delegation met during its visit a number of Syrian political, social, party and religious officials where joint desire was expressed to enhance relations between the two friendly peoples in both Syria and Turkey.

Answering a question on his perspective regarding the current aggressive project launched against Syria as a retaliation on the idea of linking five seas, Perincek said that all problems of the region could be solved through cooperation to achieve stability and security…we are after all Eastern and Asian countries and the future ahead of humanity is for the Orient , so we should depend on this project (five seas) and there should be economic, political and security cooperation among Syria, Iraq, Turkey, Iran and Azerbaijan and such an alliance would guarantee the interests of the nations in the region within an atmosphere of prosperity and stability.

Perincek considered the circumstances have become mature “because we see that in front of these challenges that Syria, Iraq and Iran cooperate with each other and when Turkey joins this alliance the solution will be very easy.”

He clarified that the agent hired by the US to serve the American greater Middle East project, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, prevents Turkey from joining this alliance, saying that “Turkey will get rid of Erdogan and it will get freedom…then it will be ready to join the alliance.”

VP Secretary-General saw that realizing a unity between Turkey, Russia, China, Iran and the Arab world will open a new page and new opportunities to the region, particularly the history of these nations dates back to countries that established empires and inhabited in a geographic sphere that embraces all the world ancient civilizations, thus this project is to defend the integrity of these civilizations.
