Five citizens martyred, more than 40 injured in a landmine blast, Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor, SANA- Five citizens were martyred and more than 40 others were injured in a landmine blast left behind by Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organization in Kabajib area in Deir Ezzor southwestern countryside.

SANA reporter in Deir Ezzor stated that a landmine left behind by Daesh (ISIS) terrorists went off in a truck carrying a group of citizens while they were going to search for truffles in Kabajib area in the southwestern countryside.

The reporter added that five citizens were martyred in the explosion and more than 40 others were injured and they were rushed to al-Assad Hospital for treatment.

Director of al-Assad Hospital in Deir Ezzor Dr. Mamoun Hiza, told SANA reporter that the hospital received more than 45 people, five of whom were martyred and the others sustained wounds of varying severity, one of whom was in a critical condition, and the necessary first aid was provided to them.
