Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop with remaining slightly above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department said in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy and rainy over the coastal region, warning against frost formation in some interior areas.
The wind will be southeasterly with a low to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows:
Damascus 14/6, Daraa 13/6, Homs 16/7, Hasaka 15/4, Tartous 19/13, Idleb 14/5, Deir Ezzor 13/5.
