Beirut-SANA – Michel Aoun, President of Lebanon, awarded Syria’s Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim Ali the National Order of the Cedar at the rank of Senior Officer.
Ambassador Ali was awarded the Order by President Aoun on occasion of the end of his diplomatic missions in Lebanon and in appreciation of his efforts in strengthening and developing brotherly Lebanese-Syrian relations.
After the awarding, Ambassador Ali expressed his gratitude for this honouring, and spoke about the close ties binding the two countries, hailing President Aoun’s role in maintaining them.
Ali voiced his hope to constantly promote the relations between Syria and Lebanon, for the good of their one people.
