Damascus, SANA – Minister of Information Omran al-Zoubi said on Tuesday that Radio of Damascus was and will always be a radio for all Arabs as it reflects the pan-Arab mentality.
In an interview with the radio on its 68th foundation, al-Zoubi said the station managed to sustain its place despite the technological advance in TV and the internet, highlighting the need to keep up with all technological developments to be able to broadcast the aspired-for messages via traditional or modern methods.
He added the station is an important part of our intellectual mentality and system and that the Information Ministry is providing all support to the plans set by the Radio’s staff.
