Aleppo, SANA-Minister of Social Affairs Dr. Kinda al-Shammat stressed the necessity of enhancing a culture of voluntarism in society and invigorating cultural, touristic and environmental associations for their important social role.
Al-Shammat’s remarks came during her meeting, together with Minister of State for National Reconciliation Affairs Dr. Ali Haidar, with the Red Crescent branch’s staff and volunteers in Aleppo.
Al-Shammat hailed the humanitarian and relief role of the branch, highlighting its role during the coming stage in helping citizens.
On a different note, the minister and Aleppo governor Mohammad Marwan Olabi met representatives of the civil society organizations and charities in Aleppo, inspecting their work and the difficulties facing it.
