Al-Halaqi: Working class main pillar in reconstruction stage

Damascus, SANA – Prime Minister Dr. Wael al-Halaqi stressed that the working class is the main pillar in the upcoming reconstruction stage and that because of its efforts, Syria will remain steadfast despite the current crisis.

Meeting Assistant Secretary General of the Arab Labor Organization, Haider Mohammed al-Taher, al-Halaqi noted that the Syrian syndicate represents the workers’ aspirations and has an active role on the internal, Arab and international levels based on its faith in the importance of achieving Arab economic security and unifying efforts to make use of the Arab nation’s capabilities and potentials away from the domination of western countries.

He stressed Syria’s commitment to Arabism and Arab causes despite the fact that it is being harmed by some Arab regimes.

In turn, al-Taher expressed hope that Syria will achieve victory and restore security and stability in the near future, reiterating the organization’s readiness to boost cooperation prospects with the General Federation of Trade Unions in Syria.
