Provinces, SANA- Road conditions in Syria due to the weather were listed on Monday by the Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior as follows:
In Damascus countryside, all roads are open for traffic except some sub-roads including Sasa-Beit Saber, and Beit Tima –Kafar Huor in Qatana area which are closed due to the accumulation of snow and all the roads which lead to al-Zabadani are hardly passable due to the ice.
In Hama, all roads are passable except the road of Shatha-Joubet Burghal which is hardly open due to the formation of ice while the roads of Ein al-Kroum-al-Qarandah and Jourin-Slunfa are closed due to the accumulation of snow and the ice.
In Lattakia, all main roads and sub-roads are open except the roads of Mirkiya-Maqamat Bani Hashem, Joubet Burghal-Slunfa-al-Ghab and al-Qarandah-al-Ghab which are hardly passable due to the formation of ice.
