Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 104 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 20 other cases recovered, and four passed away.
The Ministry stated in a statement that the total number of the coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has reached up to 27,325 till now, of which 22,368 have recovered, while 1,989 have passed away.
The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first death was registered on the 29th of the same month.
