Rainfalls in some provinces, country affected by weak low pressure

Damascus, SANA- Various amounts of rainfalls were registered in some Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours, the heaviest of which were in coastal provinces of Lattakia 63 mm and Tartous 52 mm and in Massyaf city in the central province of Hama 42 mm.

While in other provinces, rainfalls were as follows:, 12 mm in Homs, 7 mm in Quneitra and 2 mm in Damascus Countryside.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the weather will partially cloudy in general while rain showers are expected over the coastal, northern and al-Jazeera areas.

The temperature will remain around average as the country is affected by a weak and superficial low pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Fog is also expected in some inland areas, and the wind will be southwestern with a weak to moderate speed and the height of waves will be medium.
