QSD militia kidnaps more than 200 people in Raqqa, Hasaka countryside

Hasaka, Raqqa- US occupation-backed QSD militia has kidnapped more than 200 people during a wide raid campaign that targeted a number of villages and towns in Raqqa and Hasaka countryside, in order to forcibly recruit them among its ranks.

In Raqqa, local sources told SANA that during the past two days, armed groups of QSD militia carried out ambushes at the mosques in a number of villages in the province and kidnapped more than 200 young men after the prayer in order to forcibly recruit them among its ranks as part of the so-called “compulsory recruitment” in the areas where the American occupation forces and the militia are deployed.

In Hasaka southern countryside, local sources indicated that the militia launched a campaign of raids in the town of Arisha and the village of Twaimin in Hasaka southern countryside, and kidnapped a number of civilians and took them to their camps and positions in the same countryside.

In the framework of its continued crimes which aim to tighten the noose on the locals, QSD militia on Saturday kidnapped a number of civilians in separate campaigns of raids that targeted the locals’ homes in al-Yarubiya area and Tal Hamis town in Hasaka, and al-Mahmoudla village in Raqqa western countryside.
